Is this a trick or a treat? It's sort of a cheat, but, given the nature of the holiday, it is totally appropriate.

10/17/2011 Day Five

I knew it would be somewhat of a mistake to start this project while I was working twelve hour shifts. Tonight I am sort of exhausted. Kind of busy today, you know, putting candy wrappers on people's desk can be pretty darn hard work.

Today's painting is kind of a cheat. Maybe. I painted the background last night and really like the colors. But couldn't decide whether or not it is too plain. I followed some sage advice from the television show Portlandia and 'put a bird on it'.

I don't know if it better with the bird or not.

So I present to you and mixed media acrylic on canvas.
