10/19/2011 Day Seven

OK. I admit it, today's work is not a painting. It was intended to be a collage over a painting. However we ran out of ink in the printer, so I made a 'photoshop collage'. Believe me, I spent much more time doing this than I would have doing a painting.

I will make up for the painting tomorrow by posting two. I will have to rename the post not by the day number, but by the painting number. 30 in 30 is not necessarily one a day for thirty days, it means there will be thirty paintings completed in a span of thirty days.

This piece was inspired by a random thought I had at work. I called someone and bounced the idea past her. It was so crazy, it needed validation. She told me to go for it, but if I am using her as a PC barometer, I was looking the wrong way.

My idea was having tombstone angels dressed as catholic school girls. It didn't totally work as planned, but I did complete it.
